The crawler mobile crushing station is equipment that integrates materials receiving, crushing, screening, iron removal, and conveying. It consists of a receiving system, a feeding system, a crushing system, a power system, a conveying system, a walking system, a hydraulic system, etc. composition. Among them, the power system is the "heart" of the crawler-type mobile crushing plant, which mainly includes five driving modes: direct drive + hydraulic drive, direct drive + electric drive, full hydraulic drive, mains drive, and diesel-electric drive.
1. Direct drive + hydraulic drive
The diesel engine is used as the power source, and two output terminals are separated through the transfer case. The main output end is connected with a clutch or a hydraulic coupler to drive the crushing host; the other output end drives the hydraulic pump set to complete walking, feeding, conveying, auxiliary device folding and other actions.
Direct drive + hydraulic drive are currently the mainstream drive method at home and abroad.
This kind of driving method has a compact layout and high transmission efficiency, but its driving method has a higher cost than the mains drive. This is the biggest restriction factor for the promotion of crushing and screening equipment equipped with this driving method.
2. Direct drive + electric drive
This driving mode uses diesel engine as the power source, and 3 output terminals are separated through the transfer case:

.The other output end is connected to the pump set to drive crawler walking and other hydraulic actuators;
.The third output terminal drives the generator, which completes feeding, conveying and other actions through the motor.
There are also many applications of direct drive and electric drive, and many companies' crawler mobile crushing plant manufacturers have products with this drive mode.
This drive mode is more convenient in terms of later maintenance than direct drive plus hydraulic drive mode. However, due to the large power of the walking system, the pump set has a large model, which leads to a lot of increase in production costs and higher requirements for the layout of the whole machine. In addition, because the diesel engine is used as the power source, the operating cost is also high.
3. Full hydraulic drive
The full hydraulic drive mode uses diesel engine as the power source, and provides pressure oil for the hydraulic system through a series pump set. The crushing host is driven by a single variable plunger pump, and other actuators are controlled by the rest of the pump group and valve group.
The production cost of this drive mode product is lower, the structure layout is easier, and the control is simpler. The main constraints are the large torque when the crushing machine starts and the high speed during normal operation. Therefore, this drive mode is mostly used in small mobile crushing station products. In addition, this kind of driving method has higher requirements on the performance of hydraulic parts, and many hydraulic parts need to be imported from abroad, so the use cost is higher.
4. Mains drive
The crawler-type mobile crushing station adopts the mains drive mode. Its walking system is driven by a diesel engine to drive a hydraulic pump set to drive a walking motor to complete the walking action, and all other actuators are driven by the mains.
The biggest advantage of the mains drive method lies in the low cost of use. In addition, its structural layout space is larger, and the later maintenance is better.
The crawler mobile crushing plant with this drive mode is basically domestic production. Semi-mobile crushing plants also use this drive mode. The restrictive factor of the mains drive mode is the small range of use, and cables need to be configured in mining and construction waste treatment sites.
5. Diesel-electric drive
Diesel-electric drive mode uses city electricity or diesel generator set as the power source. In the actuator, the walking is driven by an electric motor and a hydraulic pump set, and other actuators are driven by an electric motor.
