It can be seen from the observation of the grinding surface of the jaw plate by scanning electron microscope that the surface of the jaw plate is extruded into the material of the concave and convex section, and then it is squeezed by the abrasive pile to form the tongue depressing grinding surface. Wear marks and micro cracks on the jaw plate surface can be seen. The main reason for the wear of the jaw plate is that the abrasive slides against the jaw plate in a short distance. The chipping metal causes the abrasive debris and the abrasive to repeatedly squeeze and cause the jaw plate material to deform multiple times, resulting in the fatigue of the metal material.
Reasons for the wear of the jaw plate:
1. Unstable contact between the jaw plate and the machine surface;
2. The rotational speed of the eccentric shaft is too fast, and the materials that have been crushed are too late to be eliminated, resulting in clogging of the crushing chamber and wear of the jaw plate;
3. The nature of the material has changed, but the crusher has not been adjusted in time;
4. The angle between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw is too large and exceeds the normal range;
The solution is:
1. Red apple casting requires that when the jaw plate is installed, it must be installed and fixed tightly to make it contact with the surface of the machine smoothly;
2. A layer of material with better plasticity can be placed between the jaw plate and the surface of the machine;
3. Every batch of material that enters the crusher shall be subject to random inspection.

The selection of the jaw plate should fully consider the following factors to choose:

(2) For crushing different materials (such as granite, quartzite and limestone), the material of the jaw plate should be different; and the higher the hardness of the material, the higher the hardness of the corresponding jaw plate.
(3) The mechanical force of the moving plate and the fixed plate is different from the wear mechanism. The moving plate bears a large impact force. Therefore, the toughness should be considered first; the fixed plate is supported by the frame, so priority can be given to the hardness.
(4) When choosing the material of the jaw plate, we should also consider the technical and economic effects, strive to achieve high quality and low price, and have market competitiveness. At the same time, the rationality of the process should also be considered, so that the production plant can easily organize production and control quality.
