Vibrating Screen is used for the screening of materials, which is widely used in mining, metallurgy, construction and chemical industries. Vibrating screen contains types like circular vibrating screen, linear vibrating screen, resonant screen, self centering vibrating screen and heavy vibrating screen. Among them, the most common ones are circular vibrating screen and linear vibrating screen.
1. Circular Virating Screen
Circular Vibrating Screen consists of self centering vibrating screen and heavy vibrating screen. The motion of the screen box is in a circle or ellipse .Generally, the vibrator of the circular vibrating screen has only one shaft and so it is called single shaft vibrating screen, which is mainly used for the classification of material granularities. It is usually incline mounted with block-type and hanging type. It works stable with high screening efficiency.
2. Linear Vibrating Screen
Linear vibrating screen contains resonant screen. According to the layers of the connecting vibrating screens, this type of screen could be classified as single-layer screen and double layers screen. The screen box motion of the liner vibrating screen is in a straight line. Screen contains two shafts, so it is called double-shaft vibrating screen. Linear vibrating screen is horizontally or incline mounted with impact structure and stable performance, which is widely used for material dehydration and desliming medium-removal. It could also be used for the dry and wet classification for material with medium or fine granularities.
3. Resonant Screen
The resonant screen is also called elastic connecting rod type vibrating screen of large vibrating amplitude, high screening efficiency, large handling capacities, low energy-consumption with impact structure. However the machine has its shortcomings like the manufacturing process is complicated and the machine itself is of large weight, the amplitude is unstable, machine adjusting is complex, the rubber spring is easy aging.
4. Self Centering Vibrating Screen
Self centering vibrating screen is used for material classification with medium and large granularities. Usually the machine has block-type and hanging type.
5. Heavy Vibrating Screen
The principle of heavy vibrating screen is similar as the self centering vibrating screen, but the shaft of vibrator is not eccentric. The heavy vibrating screen has solid structure that can bear strong impacting load. It is used for the classification of big and large density ration materials with max.feed size of 350mm.
