I. Bearing overheating reason
1. Lubrication does not reach the designated position
To ensure good lubrication of bearings, which is an important measure to reduce wear and improve economic efficiency, but whether the lubrication system can work normally is the precondition of good lubrication. When the oil cut off for bearing, friction aggravating cause the temperature of bearing heating up; When lubrication oil is too much, not only will waste a lot of lubrication oil, but also will cause the lubrication system disordered lead to temperature rising; When the oil hole blocked, also can appear insufficient lubrication that cause the temperature rising.
2. Inappropriate use of lubricating grease
The selection of the lubricating oil also affects the temperature rising of bearing. Viscosity is too big or too small is not easy to form the oil films, which can lead to temperature rising of bearing is too high. Especially the viscosity of lubricating oil is too big, not only increased the internal friction between the oil molecules, but also increases the friction between the oil and metal, therefore cause too much heating.
3. Bearing serious wear occurred
When the jaw crusher use for a long time, spare parts such as bearing will be serious worn. Continue to use will not only reach the effect, but also will cause the temperature rising, which lead to a negative effect for the whole equipment running.
II. Solutions
1. Lubrication in time
The addition amount and adding time of lubricating grease should be changed in time based on the equipment operation condition, which requires paying more attention to the equipment running condition. Should add moderate grease every 400 work hours, the lubrication oil that adding into the bearing block should be taken up volume of 50%-70%, and should be replaced every 3-6 months. Avoid the lubricating oil added is too much or too less. Also want to do a good job of cleaning oil hole, in case not able to add the lubrication oil because of the oil hole blocked.
2. Choose the appropriate lubrication grease
Be sure to choose the lubrication grease with high viscosity, better adhesion and better shock-absorbing. Try to cut down the cost. Choose the lubrication oil according to different seasons. Please do not use the mixed lubrication oil. The lubrication oil can protect the bearing from corrosion. Therefore, it must absorb the condensate water.
3. Fix and change the bearing timely
When the bearing can not be used again, must change another one. And clean the bushing, bolster and oil catcher etc before installing the bearing.
