Application Scope of Sand Washing Machine
Sand washing machine is widely used in construction site, quarry (aggregates) plant, hydro-electricity power plant and concrete dam industries. Sand making machine has the characteristic of high purity, reasonable structure, large production output, low energy consumption and small material running (during sand washing process).
Common Malfunctions and Maintenance of Sand Washing Machine’s Motor.
Sand washing machine’s motor malfunction may influence the production. The main malfunctions are:
1. The inspection of iron core of the stator and rotor
Stator and rotor consists of overlaid silicon steel sheets that are insulated with each other, which is the magnetic circuit of the motor. Damages and distortions of the stator and rotor are mainly caused by below reasons:
(1) The bearing is overly worn out or by improper installation, which leads to the friction of stator and rotor and caused the surface scratch of the iron core. Iron core damage result in the close-circuit of silicon steel sheets, increasing the iron losses of the motor, increasing the motor temperature.
(2) Rusting of the iron core surface caused by damp situation. Use the abrasive paper to polish the iron core and painted the iron core with insulating paints.
(3) The heat of winding grounding burns iron core or teeth. Use chisel or scraper tools to clean melting deposition, coat insulating paint then dry it.
(4) Core and base combining loose, can tighten original positioning screws. If positioning screw broke, drill positioning hole and tapping once again, tighten positioning screws.
2. Bearing Troubleshooting
Rotation shaft rotates through the bearing support, which is the most heavy load part and easy wearing part.
(1) Failure inspection.There is an abnormal noise when bearing is short of oil, maybe bearing rims rupture. If inner bearing is mixed with sand and other debris or bearing parts wear, a slight noise occurs.
(2) Failure repairing. Rub off rusty spot on the surface of the bearing surface with # 00 sandpaper erase, and then clean in the gasoline. If bearing crack, inner or outer bearing rupture or bearing wear badly, a new bearing should be replaced. Choose same original model when replacing.
The installation of the machine
1. Sand washing machine should be installed on horizontal concrete base, fix it with foundation bolts.
2. When installation, pay attention to horizontal vertical of the main body.
3. Check each part after installation, whether the bolt is fasten, whether the door is closed.
4. Prepare power and control switch according to the equipment power configuration.
5. After checking and taking no load test, arrange production if test is normal.
