The blocking problem and blocking point location of crushing chamber are very important for all kinds of pressure crushers (such as gyratory crusher, cone crusher, etc.).
When a large piece of material is crushed into several small pieces in the crushing chamber, the volume will be increased. Since it changes from a whole piece into several small pieces, and appears a lot of space between each small particle, the total volume increased and loose bulk density decreased. The crushed small particles occupied a larger of volume in the crushing chamber, otherwise they will be crowded or blocked.
Secondly, the shape of the crushing chamber is trapezoidal, the top is bigger but the bottom is smaller, when the materials pass through the lower part of crushing chamber, they will be blocked. However, due to the stroke of movable jaw is more and more large from upper to lower, the material will be discharged more faster to reduce the blockage.
