What’s the category of screening equipment?
Usually according to the granularities of the mixed material, we classified the mixture through single layer or multilayer screen. The common usage of the classifiers is cylinder screening machine and high frequency screening machine.
IV. Classifying Device
The Spiral Classifier
The spiral classifier together with the wet-method ball milling machine constitutes the integrated system to complete the grinding and classifying work. The spiral classifier could be sorted into single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier according to the quantities of the spirals. Moreover, the classifier could also be sorted into high weir spiral classifier, sink in classifier and low weir spiral classifier according to the height of weir level.

1. Magnetic separation
Magnetic separation realizes the mineral separation based on mineral magnetic differences in non-uniform magnetic field.
(1) According to the magnetic source, magnetic separator can be divided into permanent magnetic separator and electromagnetic separator
(2) According to magnetic field strength, magnetic separator can be divided into weak magnetic field magnetic separator, mid-magnetic field magnetic separator, and strong magnetic field separators
(3) According to the classification medium, magnetic separator can be divided into dry magnetic separator and wet magnetic separator
(4) According to the type of magnetic field, magnetic separator can be divided into constant magnetic field magnetic separator and pulsed magnetic field magnetic separator and alternating magnetic field magnetic separator
(5) According to separator structure, magnetic separator can be divided into belt magnetic separator, drum magnetic separator, roll-type magnetic separator, disk-type magnetic separator, carousel type magnetic separator, cage type magnetic separator and pulley magnetic separator.
2. Flotation equipment
Flotation realizes the mineral separation based on different mineral water wettability. Flotation equipment types: mechanical flotation machine, pneumatic flotation machines, mixed flotation machine or air-blowing mechanical flotation machines, and air-releasing flotation machines.
(1) Mechanical flotation machine
Pulp aeration and mixing is achieved by mechanical agitator.
(2) Advantages of air-blowing mechanical flotation machine
a. adjust aeration quantity easily
b. less wear of mechanical agitator
c. high beneficiating index
d. low power consumption
(3) Structure feature of pneumatic flotation machine:
No mechanical agitator, no drive part. Flotation column has the feature of simple structure, small site occupation, easy operation and maintenance, and energy saving.
(4) Air-releasing flotation machines:
It is mainly used for flotation of fine mineral and deoiling flotation of oily wastewater.
3. Gravity concentration equipment
Gravity separation is not subject to the particle size and no need of any potion, which reduce the abrasion of mineral ore and simplify the tailings discharge and waste purification. It reduces both production cost and environmental cost. The common gravity concentration equipment is table, spiral chute, and jigger.
