Impact crusher is a kind of high efficiency crushing equipment with high crushing ratio, simple structure, low-energy consumption and large production capacity. More importantly, the final product has good granularity shape. The defect is that the friction surface is severely wear out, which may have seriously influence the service life of the crusher. Consequently, the cleaning work is of great importance during production. It is not only benefit for the proper working of impact crusher, but also make sure reducing the breakdown time of the crusher. Then how to do the lubrication work of the impact crusher?
1. The lubricant should be of appropriate amount: The volume of the lubricant could not exceed 50%-70% of its size. If the lubricant amount is too small, the crusher machine may not get enough lubricant and generates friction due to it. However, if the lubricant is too many, it may enlarge the friction moment, increasing the temperature of the device that could be more harmful to crusher. Consequently, proper amount of lubricant is enough. But special attention should be paid is that the lubricant injection should between the toggle plate before starting the machine.
2. The difference of temperature and places should also pay attention to. The selection of the lubricant should be rely on different places and the temperature condition. Generally, we will use calcium-sodium base grease as lubricant.
3. We need to use the same brand lubricant. When doing daily grease adding, try to use the lubricant from the same brand. Avoid the mixture using of different brands. If we neglect this point, the probability of machine failure will increase around 13.2%
4. Please replace the lubricant frequently and keep it as clean as possible. Since crushing machine is working under hush situation, it generates huge amount of fuse and dust, it is necessary to replace the lubricant frequently to prevent the congestion caused by dust, machine scraps, impurities and gravels. The lubricant should be replaced every season according to the working condition of the crusher.
