The Working Principles of the Impact Crusher

Impact crusher shares the basis working principles with hammer crusher. They all use the high speed impact force to crush materials. In general, they share the same traits as follow:

1. Free Impact Crushing 

It is the main factor that generates impact crushing force. When Plate hammer contacts with the material, the material will be casted out at a twice speed than that of the hammer plate. Most of the dust is generated by this impact during this procedure.

2. Impact Crushing 

The material falls onto the imapct plate or bounces out under the influence of grativity. The Impact plate is the main factor that controls the direction of the mateiral flow.

3. Milling Crushing   

Material falls into the crushing chamber, the large size material will be milled by high speed plate hammer and then be casted out. Additionally, the large mateiral that going through above two crushing procedures yet to be crushed, will be milled by the high speed hammer plate at the discharge openning. 

Application Purposes of Imapct Crusher
