Jaw crusher is one of the most common coarse crushing equipments that plays an important role in mining industry. Undoubtedly, crushing machine has wearing parts, like thrusting plate and jaw plate. During maintenance, if the thrust plate or jaw plate are worn seriously, need to replace in time, so as to ensure the crushing machine running normally.
How to replace thrust plate and jaw plate? What attentions need to be concerned? Let's give you the introduction.
1. Firstly loose the screw of guard plate, cut off grease lubrication pipe. Hang the thrust plate on the crane or other lifting device, and then loose the spring on the one side of connecting rod, pulling movable jaw to the position of fixed jaw to take out front thrust plate.
2. Then pulling connecting rod, front thrust plate and movable jaw together to take out back thrust plate.
3. After taking out the thrust plate, cut off grease lubrication pipe and cooling water pipe, and then use frame to support the bottom of connecting rod. Dismantle connecting rod cover to lift connecting rod.
4. Remove main shaft, belt pulley and flywheel at the same time.
5. Move the motor (together with belt) along slide rail close to crusher to take out V-belt, and then use crane to lift main shaft.
6. When dismantle movable jaw, firstly cut off grease lubrication pipe, and then dismantle connecting rod and bearing cover, finally use crane or other lifting device to pull out movable jaw.
Jaw crusher is coarse crushing equipment and also the first step in crushing production line, so during operation, should pay attention to maintenance and repair to make sure no fault appeared to increase wearing parts' durability so as to reduce production cost.
