Roll shaft is equipped with belt pulley, gear, fly wheel, wheel sleeve and rolling bearing which is embedded on the shaft neck by the matched fastener, so in the process of disassembling, there are many aspects need to be concerned.
1. Use special tools, like screw rod or hydraulic pulling machine.
2. Removing the dismountable parts on the shaft after preheat the surrounding parts, or knock out by the hammer. Note that the protection measures should be prepared to prevent damage the surrounding parts.
3. Normally through heating method can disassemble the spare parts, if you don't separate the parts, raising the temperature. The temperature should not exceed 700℃, otherwise, the spare parts will oxidizing or annealing, which reduce the parts strength and shorten the service life.
4. It is forbidden to knock the rolling bearing when disassemble the bearing. Use the ferrous metal bar with low hardness or insert pad to instead.
5. Evenly heat the bearing, and the heat temperature should not exceed 100℃ to avoid bearing annealing and reduce the hardness.
