Hammer crusher can break material with size of 600-1800mm directly into size of 25mm or below. Hammer crusher is suitable for crushing medium hardness materials used in cement, chemical, electricity and metallurgy industries, such as limestone, furnace slag, coke and coal. It has the following advantages and disadvantages.

1. Advantages of hammer crusher

It has large crushing ratio (normally is 10-25, or up to 50), high production capacity, even particles size, less over crushing phenomenon, simple structure, high weight and easy operation.

2. Disadvantages of hammer crusher

Hammer head and grizzly bar are easy to wear, and need long time to repair and level. When crush hard materials, it is easier to be worn; when crusher wet materials, it is easy to block the grizzly bar, thus leading to machine shut down (water content of materials do not exceed 10%). The hammer head and liner plate are worn badly and consume more metal materials when crush stiffness materials. Often replace wearing parts will need more time and reduce the production capacity.

The ring hammer crusher produced by Luoyang Dahua has the feature of simple structure, large crushing ratio, and high production efficiency. It can be used in dry and wet crushing method. The grizzly bar can be adjusted according to the customers' requirements to change the discharging granularity so as to meet the different demands.
