III. Liner Plate Abrasion

1. Reduce the liner plate loosening. The loose liner plate may cause the movement between liner plate and cone body to increase abrasion. Therefore, the soft metal gasket can be placed between them, and be tightened by bolts to improve the break or abrasion phenomenon caused by liner plate loosening.

2. Improve the stress state of liner plate. In order to have even stress in each point of liner plate, we often place tinplate, aluminum plate, zinc alloy plate, soft steel plate, or pouring cement mortar between liner plate and cone body to ensure the close contact between each other.

3. Control feed granularity. Pay attention to the feed granularity. It must conform to the crushing requirement. The non-crushed materials or the materials with strong hardness and high humidity are not allowed to feed into crushing cavity; otherwise, the cone crusher is blocked.

4. Feed material evenly. If the feed amount of cone crusher does not adjust in time, the stone would strike and rub against the line plate to increase the abrasion. As a consequence, should ensure the materials are in the middle of distributor, not directly contact with the liner plate.

5. To prevent high rise of temperature. If the working temperature of cone crusher is too high, the liner plate is easy to deform caused by materials striking and grinding. Therefore, should take good lubrication to decrease the machine temperature and reduce the plastic deformation.

IV. Oil Leakage

Oil leakage of cone crusher would influence the machine lubrication, and cause fault.

1. Correctly install sealing ring to ensure good sealing. 

2. Check whether the clearance between the inner side of main machine oil pool and the oil baffle on the counterweight is in the seasonable limit or not. To prevent the oil splash on the lubrication oil to form oil seal, thus causing cone crusher leakage.
