Systematic Troubleshooting and Solutions
When abnormal vibration and no feeding are observed, the following step-by-step approach can isolate and resolve the problem efficiently:
- Immediate Inspection
Observe the amplitude pattern from both the front and the rear of the trough. Consistent amplitude across the trough indicates vibration system integrity; uneven amplitude suggests spring or motor issues.
- Adjusting Excitation Force
- Disconnect all power and lock out the machine.
- Remove the protective covers at both ends of the motor.
- Locate the fixed eccentric block (inner) and the adjustable eccentric block (outer).
- Loosen the clamping bolts on the outer eccentric block.
- Rotate the adjustable eccentric block to the desired scale angle.
- For dual-motor feeders, also verify that the two motors run in opposite directions. If not, reverse the wiring of one motor.
Clearing and Preventing Physical Blockage
- Inspect the discharge chute and remove any accumulated debris or oversized materials.
- For sticky, high-moisture materials ( > 15% moisture content), install heating elements, apply specialized anti-stick liners, or pre-dry the material before feeding.
- Reduce the feed rate immediately if overfeeding has occurred, and maintain a uniform feed rate thereafter.
