Daily Maintenance
Before Starting
1. Visual inspection. Walk around the plant and look for any obvious damage, leaks, or loose parts. Check that the plant is level in all directions—an uneven plant can cause poor screening and unnecessary wear.
2. Check the screen media. Examine the screen for damage, deformation, or clogging. A damaged or blocked screen reduces efficiency and puts extra strain on the machine.

5. Listen and watch. Pay attention to any unusual sounds or vibrations. These are early warning signs of problems like loose components or worn bearings.
6. Feed properly. Avoid overloading the plant. Overloading can reduce screening efficiency by up to 50 percent and cause unnecessary wear. Control the feed rate and material thickness.
After Shutting Down
7. Clean the plant. Remove all residual material from the screen, conveyors, hoppers, and any ledges where material might accumulate. Leftover material can cause corrosion, clog screens, and attract pests.
8. Clean the screen carefully. Use appropriate cleaning tools—never use hard objects that could damage the screen mesh.
