Using the screen to seperate ore (or solid materials) into different levels is called screening. Actually screening is the relative movement of material and screen surface. The smaller grain pass through the mesh,while the bigger ones stay on the surface.So the screening process is relative to the size and shape of the ore,has no concern with ore density.
Screening is done by using screening equipment.There are many kinds of screening equipments and they can be divided into different types according to there structures and movement fetures:
1.Fixed screen:it includes fixed grizzly screen,fixed grizzly bar,cantilever grizzly bar and sieve bend.
2.Barrel screen:cylinder screen,cone screen and pyramid screen etc.
3.Plane shaking screen
4.Vibrating screen:it includes mechnical drive and electrical drive.The eccentric vibrating screen,inertia vibrating screen,self-centered vibrating screen,linear vibrating screen and resonance screen belong to mechnical drive.Electric vibrating screen is electrical drive.
