When cone crusher is in processing, it will inevitably encounter large pieces of material or iron products, which can lead to mantle looseness. If there is no maintenance in time, it can wear the fastening device of saw tooth thread and inner gear into bald, cause crusher failure and reduce crusher service life directly. Only prevent mantle looseness can prolong crusher service life, the prevention methods are as follows.
1. Zinc alloy, spindle nut and lower surface of lock nut need to be intimate contact. Poor contact or loose contact can lead to mantle looseness.
2. The wear of crusher mantle should not more than two thirds of its thickness. When mantle wears down badly, the mantle is easily loosen or damaged.
3. Feeding material should not contain too much mud, pay attention to iron products at the same time, sticky material can adhere to the crushing cavity, cause mantle looseness, iron products will not only damage mantle, but also speed up mantle looseness.
4. Check bottom layer gap of crusher mantle regularly, gap should not be larger than 0.1 mm.
5. In accordance with the specifications, mantle should be correctly installed on adjusting sleeve, before installation should remove dust on the surface. Before replacement of mantle, should clear out all the old packing.
