It is a blinder, a substance that sets and hardness and can bind other materials together.
2. Classification of Cement
1) It is divided into 3 types according to the application:
• General Cement: Use in civil construction project. Such as Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, portland-pozzolana cement, Portland fly-ash cement and complex Portland cement.
• Special Cement: Specialized purposed cement. Such as level G oil well cement, 425# road Portland cement
• Characteristic cement: The cement with outstand performance. Such as Rapid harding portland cement, low-heat portland blast furnance slag cement, expansion sulphate aluminium cement.

• Portland cement
• Aluminate cement
• Ryukyu and aluminate cement
• iron aluminate cement
• Fluoro aluminate cement
• Cinerite and other material
