The components of granite jaw crusher are mainly including crushing parts (consists of fixed jaw and sewing jaw), driving structure, locking device, adjusting device and safety device. Below is the detailed description of each component so that the user may have a better understanding about the granite jaw crusher.
♦ Frame is made of casting iron, which is the largest component of the jaw crusher. The function of it is to support the components of the whole machine and shoulder the vibrating of the machine.
♦ Movable jaw plate and fixed jaw plate are the main components of the jaw crusher. The upper part of the jaw crusher is installed on the shaft and could do pendulum movement along the shaft. The lower part of the movable jaw is connected with toggle plate and connecting rod. When the toggle plate does advance and return movement, it will make the movable jaw plate moving forward and backward accordingly so that the material between them will be crushed. The surface of the fixed jaw plate is filled with saw toothed-shape iron, which is intertwined the tooth on the movable jaw plate. By doing so, it can increase the crushing pressure and breaking force to crush the material and make the product with good shape.
♦ Toggle plate is made of casting iron. The functions of toggle plate are: 1. Used as the connection between the rod and movable jaw plate and transmit the force from the connection rod to the movable jaw crusher plate. 2. Toggle plate is the protection component of jaw crusher, when jaw crusher encounters hard objects falling off from the feed opening, toggle plate will stop connection first to avoid accident from happening.
♦ Eccentric shaft is made of high quality steel. Since it has eccentric distance, so when the belt pulley driving the eccentric shaft to make rotation, the shaft forces the connection rod make up-and down movement to realize the material crushing purpose.
♦ Connecting rod is made of casting iron, it is connected with toggle plate, when the eccentric shaft rotating, the connecting rod makes up and down movement to realize the material crushing purpose.
♦ Pull rod and spring tightly work together. Pull rod is connected with the lower protrusion part of the movable jaw crusher. The other side of the pulling rod is inserted into the hole of the machine bottom, which is connected and fixed with spring and bolt.
♦ Belt pulley is made of casting iron. Lower movement with tiger-type opening is horizontal belt pulley. Complicated pendulum movement opening could be v-belt pulley or horizontal belt bully. The belt pulley is driven by the belt through the motor to make the eccentric shaft rotates.
♦ Fly wheel is used in store for the impetus which supports the return stroke of movable jaw plate. During the movable working stroke, it releases the energy to make the motor works stably.
