- The shape comparison of the crushing cavity
The two cones of the gyratory crusher are both steeply inclined, the moving cone is upright, and the fixed cone is an inverted truncated cone (mainly to meet the requirements of the feed size), and the material can be discharged vertically downwards by its own weight.
The two cones of the cone crusher are both gently inclined upright truncated cones, and in order to control the particle size of the discharged products, a parallel crushing area is set in the lower part of the crushing cavity, which results in different shapes of the crushing cavity. - Comparison of the suspension mode of the moving cone
The moving cone of the gyratory crusher is suspended on the beam of the frame; the moving cone of the cone crusher is supported by spherical bearings. The main shaft of the single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher is floating and supported at both ends. In addition to the lower end of the movable cone spindle supported on the base, its upper end is also fixed in a shaft sleeve in the middle of the upper frame body beam, which is located exactly at the theoretical suspension point of the movable cone rotation. - Comparison of dustproof devices
Gyratory crushers generally use dry dust-proof devices, while cone crushers usually use water-sealed dust-proof devices.
Spring cone crusher generally adopts dry oil seal to prevent dust, multi-cylinder adopts a combination of positive pressure dustproof and non-contact labyrinth seal to effectively prevent dust from polluting the lubricating oil, damaging the bearing, and prolonging the life of the lubricating oil and equipment. - Comparison of adjustment methods of discharge opening
The gyratory crusher uses the lifting of the moving cone to adjust the width of the discharge port.
The spring and multi-cylinder cone crusher uses fixed cone lifting to adjust the width of the discharge port. When adjusting the discharge port, first release the pressure of the locking cylinder, and then turn the adjusting ring clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the fixed cone, so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the discharge port.
The single-cylinder cone crusher uses a hydraulic cylinder placed at the bottom of the base to push the main shaft and the moving cone up or down to achieve the purpose of increasing or reducing the discharge port. - Comparison of application scope
