Hammer crusher is a fundamental crushing equipment that utilizes high-speed rotary hammers to impact materials and achieve the purpose of crushing. It is applied for the crushing of hard materials. Therefore, hammer crusher is easier to be worn. What parts should be focused on the maintenance for hammer crusher? How to solve the problems?
1. Hammer head problems: hammer heads are the main consumption parts. After the replacement, when driving vibration intensified will cause the bearings or coupling damaged. The service life of hammer heads is short.
Solutions: hammer heads should be overturned on time during use according to the current situation until the hammer head replaced. The new hammer head should be weighed when replacement, and then divided into several groups to make the weight of each group to be equal. Otherwise, driving is easy to cause vibration, because the hammer head is error when casting, the weight of each hammer head is not the same.
Usually should check the clearance between hammer head and screen bar, screen bar and screen bar when stopped. Should adjust and replace the screen bars on time when necessary.
2. Hammer frame problems: the hammer frame is cast-steel material, which is less contact with materials. However, sometimes the metals entering into the crusher or liners falling off easy to cause the middle hammer plates damaged or bended to cause vibration. The clearance of side hammer plate and side plate will be impacted by materials to cause wear, side hammer plate abrasion is more serious.
Solutions: should check the middle hammer plate in time, try to repair or timely replace. Because the middle hammer plates easily clamp the hammer head after bending to cause vibration. For the wear side hammer plates, there are two methods to extend the service life of side plates: one is wear-resisting layer overlaying on the wear, 2 it is better to coat the wear-resisting layer around the circular surface and one surface nearby side plate before the new side plates replaced.
3. Main shaft problems: The diameter of main shaft end will be worn caused by the friction during operation. Because of the shaft end between main shaft and sliding bearing using oiling ring lubrication method, it is easy to cause shaft end worn or brushed after long time running, making bad contact between main shaft and bearing bush result in overheat of bearing bush.
Solutions: Add protection cover on main shaft end. Transport the main shaft to machine repair shop, grinding the abrasion parts, and adjust the spacer according to the new diameter of bearing bush.
