Common Faults and Solutions of Vibrating Screen

In production, due to various factors, various failures of the vibrating screen may occur. The reasons for various failures and the solutions are briefly introduced below:

1. The material flow on the vibrating screen is abnormal. First, the rigidity of the screen box is insufficient, there is a critical frequency, and the connecting bolts have been vibrated loose, even to the extent of full vibration, that is, tighten. Second, the horizontal level of the screen box is not accurate. Find the fault from the support seat of the supporting foot spring or the spring itself, change the spring or change the size of the support, and it may be caused by the damage of the screen surface. Just replace the screen. If the rigidity of the screen box has been insufficient and the horizontal level is not accurately determined, the beam will break, and the material will flow abnormally if it is still running. It may also be improper operation, that is, extremely unbalanced feed is also one of the reasons.

2. If the vibrating screen cannot be started or the amplitude is too small, check the electrical barriers, whether the vibrating motor is damaged, or the components in the line are damaged, whether the voltage is insufficient, there is no problem in these three aspects, and then check mechanically, the vibration whether the material on the sieve surface has accumulated too much, if so, remove it. Whether the coupling bolts on the vibration exciter have fallen off, whether the grease has thickened and agglomerated, the vibration exciter can be cleaned and repaired at this time, and then the position of the eccentric shaft weighting block or the auxiliary eccentric block can be adjusted appropriately.

3. The side plate of the vibrating screen is cracked, the beam is broken, and the structural parts are damaged. This will not happen suddenly. It is because the working time at the critical frequency is too long. For example, a large number of high-strength bolts that fasten the side plate are loose, and the spring is severely deformed. The difference between the left and right heights is very large. It is also possible that the weight error of each eccentric block is too large, causing structural parts to be damaged, wallboard cracks, or even beam breaks. Replace damaged parts, tighten bolts, and repair wallboard cracks. Punch two small holes of 6mm on the two ends first to prevent cracks from extending. Pay attention to making several vent holes in the reinforcing plate when repairing the reinforcing plate.

4. The vibrating screen rotates slowly and the bearing heats up. This situation indicates that the usual maintenance has not kept up, and the bearing lacks grease. If it is newly added grease, it is due to the quality of the grease or the filling is too full, and the inferior oil causes it. The bearing blocks the labyrinth seal, so the quality of the grease is very important.

5. The quality of the vibrating screen is not good. The reason is that the improper operation has many responsibilities. It may block the mesh, increase the fine particles in the sieve material and increase the moisture, so that the material layer on the sieve is too thick, and the feeding is uneven. It is possible that the two sides of the screen are not pulled tightly. If the shaft is eccentrically vibrating, the belt may be weak during driving; the belt may be too loose, etc. After the mechanical problem is solved, it can be reversed for a period of time to improve the screening quality.

6. Excessive noise of the circular vibrating screen may be caused by bearing damage, loose bolts, broken beams and spring damage. Except that the bolts can be tightened, parts need to be replaced in the other three conditions.
