Bearing is the main components of jaw crusher and other crushing equipment. Jaw crusher is mainly driven by eccentric shaft running swing jaw do cyclic swing, bearing is one of the wear parts of jaw crusher, its service life is short. Therefore, it's very important to choose appropriate bearing to prolong its service life.
For the choice of the jaw crusher bearings, following four aspects need to be considered.
(1)The bearing and shaft
Bearing load produced by crushing force increase from zero to the maximum, and then quickly returns to zero. Force caused by the weight of bearing inner ring is sustainable, in order to eliminate the wear of bearing joint surface and flexural fatigue limitation of the main shaft, inner ring must be tightened to bearing. Through the grinding on bearing joint surface, it can meet the processing requirements.
(2)Bearing seat hole
In order to avoid reversed axial tension caused by thermal expansion, the outer ring must be removable to match with bearing seat hole. In addition, the bearing load of outer ring changes not only in size but also in direction, so need to keep tolerance clearance as small as possible, otherwise, besides the friction damage, the tremor of bearing seat hole also damage the matching surface, the size of the tremor is associated with mass balance and return spring design.
(3) The design of bearing house
Under the loading condition, the bearing deformation has a great influence for load distribution of each cylindrical roller of bearing and its service life. Because the connecting rod bearing tensile stress, and provides a good precondition for connecting support combined load distribution. However, the bearing house must have enough thickness, and the loading direction should be reinforced, as for the separable bearing house, the configuration of connecting bolts can not too far in case high roller dynamic stress occurred at joint.
(4) Bearing lubrication and seal
The roller bearing of swing jaw crusher should be lubricated by grease lubrication, and this grease must ensure that the surface of rolling bearing can form an elastic hydrodynamic film. The seal of grease and bearing and its bearing house have a protection effect for rolling bearing. Seal must be strong, simple and effective, even under the polluted environment, less maintenance also can obtain a long service life.
The selection of jaw crusher bearing is very important. The appropriate bearing is not only can extend its service life, but also can improve the operation efficiency of jaw crusher and the accuracy of crushing grain size, as well as reduce the using cost of jaw crusher.
