1. The classification of the hammer crusher
Hammer crusher use rapidly rotating hammer to impact and crush material. It is widely used in medium and fine crushing process for various kinds of medium hardness materials. Hammer crusher can be classified according to the following characteristics in structure.
(1) Classification according to the number of rotor
① Single rotor hammer crusher: Circular disk with a hammer is installed on a horizontal axis.
② Double rotor hammer crusher: It is equipped with two parallel horizontal axis with circular disk, two axis rotate relatively.
(2) Classification according to rotation type
① Directional type: The rotor rotates in one direction.
② Reversible type: Rotate in two directions.
(3) Classification according to the rotor, circular disk array
① Single disk of hammer crusher: The hammers inside gather in a line, the number of the hammer is not more than five or six.
② Double row and multiple row: The hammers in a row and same rotation plane can have 3-6 hammers, row number is usually 1-20 or even more.
2. The merit and demerit of hammer crusher
The merit of hammer crusher: High production capacity, big crushing ratio, simple structure, compact size, less power consumption, convenient operation and maintenance, easy to repair, uniform product size, and less over grinding.
The demerit of hammer crusher: Hammer wears fast, hard material wears more quickly, not suitable for crushing hard materials and not suitable for crushing viscous material or make article screen plug easily, thus can decrease productivity and cause equipment accident.
