Powder Control of Artificial Sandstone

According to the construction design requirement, the powder content of artificial sandstone should be 12-18%. Normally, taking dry method screening, mixing cavity production, mixed production and powder recycle method to control powder content.

1. Dry method screening:  This method is used at secondary sorting workshop. The sand which below 5mm should be transported directly to finished sand depot by conveyor. In the process of screening, add dust collector to recycle the powder which mixed in the dust.

2. Mixing cavity production: Vertical shaft impact crusher has two cavities: stone to iron and stone to stone. The artificial sands produced through stone to iron type content higher powder, but the wear-resistant anvil wear fast in high cost. The sands produced through stone to stone content lower powder without anvil, so the cost is low. As a consequence, the combination of the two cavities can reasonable control the powder content. 

3. Mixed production: Vertical shaft impact crusher and rob mill work together to control powder.

4. Powder recycle: Recycle the powder during production on screening and mixed into finished sand depot. Check it time by time till the powder is 10%-15%.
