Different models of ball mill can meet different technical requirements, improper use will decrease processing efficiency of ball mill. So operators need to stick with following attentions in use.
1. The dust cover of big gear wheel must be sealed in case of dust and mud invasion.
2. If found that big gear wheel and main bearing may has been invaded by sediment, should immediately stop ball mill without delay.
3. If found that the bearing emits heat, or close to burning down, should immediately take emergency cooling measures, do not stop ball mill immediately to prevent bearing lock accidents.
4. Stick with the rules as feeding ores, supplying water, adding ball, prohibiting overload operation and preventing swelling, but ensure enough ore. Prohibit empty load operation in case of liner plate damage.
5. Fasten ball mill liner plate with screw and sealing washer in case of water and pulp leakage.
6. The replacement gap between liner plates is 10-20 mm.
7. Ball mill shall start no more than two consecutive times, the first and the second interval should be more than 5 minutes. The third must be checked by the electrician, fitter with starting rear can start.
8. If it is equipped with several sets of ball mill in the same workshop, only one starts at a time.
