The gyratory crusher is a kind of coarse crushing equipment, which is mainly used in the mineral processing industry and other industrial sectors. The main advantages of the gyratory crushr (compared with the jaw crusher):
(1) The crushing cavity depth, continuous work, high production capacity, low unit power consumption. It is the same as to the mine mouth width of jaw crusher, production capacity is higher than the latter, while the power consumption is lower than the jaw;
(2) The running is relatively stable, the vibration is relatively light, the basic quality of machinery and equipment is small. The basic quality of the cycle crusher, usually 3 to 2 times the quality of machine equipment, and the foundation quality of the jaw crusher is 10 to 5 times of the machine itself quality;
(3) Can be packed to the mine, the large crusher can be directly into the original ore, without additional ore bin and feeder. The jaw crusher is not full to mine, and mine to uniform, so it needs to set up another ore bin (or ore hopper) and feeder;
(4) The cycle crusher is easy to start, unlike the auxiliary tool rotating the flywheel before the start of the jaw crusher (with the exception of the segmented starting jaw crusher);
(5) The tablet crusher generated a jaw crusher less confidential.
However, there are also some shortcomings of gyratory crusher:
(1) The body of the gyratory crusher is higher than that of the jaw crusher, which is 3 to 2 times higher than that of the jaw crusher, so the construction cost of the plant is larger;
(2) The machine quality is large, its crushing machine 1.7~2 times than the same heavy jaw to the mine mouth size, so that the equipment investment cost is higher;
(3) It is not suitable for crushing wet and sticky ore;
(4) Installation, maintenance is more complex, maintenance is not convenient.
