Impact crusher is mainly used to crush ore materials, when crush the harder and large ore, this aggravates the wearing parts abrasion, especially the grid plate. If the grid plate is damaged, it seriously influences the products granularity and the production efficiency. Aimed at this problem, we will introduce the damage reason and prevention method for the grid plate.
Damage reason: Grid plate is made of high manganese steel. It will bend or deform when the crushing cavity mixed with other metal impurities or there piled up large amount of materials. To repair the grid plate, the hot straighten method can be adopted, while for the worn grid plate, can use surfacing method.
Prevention method: If the discharging materials contain 30mm particles, means the grid plate is damaged. If the grid plate is damaged twice by the iron that mixed in the crushed materials, for this situation, control the iron materials is the effective method to prevent the grid plate being damaged. The other way is to prevent the damage caused by bolts loose.
