What are the Structural Components of the Jaw Crusher?

Jaw crusher is a typical of traditional crushing equipment. In actual production and application, the structure of jaw crusher is very simple, mainly composed of frame, transmission mechanism, working mechanism, tensioning device, adjusting device, and device and lubrication system. The overall structure can be divided into seven blocks. Today we are going to share the related content of the jaw breaking frame, working mechanism, transmission parts and lubrication device!

  1. Rack
The frame is a four-walled rigid frame with upper and lower openings, which can be used to support the eccentric shaft and bear the reaction force from the crushed materials. The strength and rigidity are appropriate. Cast steel is generally used for integral casting. Small machines can also be replaced with high-quality cast iron. The frame of the mainframe needs to be cast in sections, and then firmly connected with bolts to form a whole. The casting process is quite complicated. The frame of the self-made small jaw crusher can also be welded with thick steel plates, but the rigidity is relatively poor.
  2. Working organization
The working mechanism of the jaw crusher is composed of fixed jaws and movable jaws, both of which are lined with tooth plates made of manganese steel. The tooth plate is fixed on the jaw plate with bolts and wedge irons. In order to improve the crushing effect, the jaw breaker directly participates in the crushing, and the surface of the liner has longitudinal corrugations, and the unevenness is opposite. The wear of each part of the liner of the crusher is very uneven; especially the lower part near the discharge port is more severely worn. Therefore, the inner liner is generally made up and down symmetrical, and the lower part is worn upside down to prolong its service life.
  3. Transmission parts
The eccentric shaft is the main shaft of the crusher, which has a very large bending and torsion force and is made of high-carbon steel. The eccentric part must be processed, heat-treated, and the bearing lining shall be cast with babbitt alloy. One end of the eccentric shaft is equipped with a flywheel, and the other end is equipped with a pulley.
  4. Lubrication device
Eccentric shaft bearings usually use concentrated circulating lubrication. The supporting surface of the eccentric shaft and the thrust plate is generally lubricated with grease through a manual grease gun. The swing angle of the movable jaw is very small, which makes it difficult to lubricate between the spindle and the bearing bush. A number of axial oil grooves are often opened at the bottom of the bearing bush, and a ring is opened in the middle to connect to the oil groove, and then the oil pump is forced to inject dry butter lubricating.

Understanding the main structural components of the jaw crusher can help everyone better use the crusher equipment. In addition to familiarizing the structure of the jaw crusher, it is also necessary to understand its working principle and does daily maintenance work of!
